About this hunt

Tine Flies Outfitters offers a limited number of fully guided whitetail hunts on 40,000 acres of private western and northwestern Oklahoma ground. Every hunt is five days, and lodging and executive-chef meals are included.

We manage our properties for mature age-class whitetails. Every hunt is planned around current scouting, weather, food sources, rut activity and recent deer movement. Trophy size and harvest are never guaranteed, but the preparation, access and effort behind every hunt are taken seriously.

The Ground

Separate properties, not one continuous ranch

Our properties stretch from the Cimarron River country along the Kansas border to the Canadian River country near Canton and Watonga, with additional managed sections throughout the ground in between.

Our newest addition is 14,000 acres along the Cimarron River near Freedom, Oklahoma — true trophy whitetail country with its own on-site camp: three completely renovated mobile homes that sleep up to 18.

These are separate properties, not one continuous ranch. That is the point. Different parcels give us access to multiple deer herds and a wide range of habitat, including river bottoms, native prairie, cedar breaks, brush-filled draws, shelterbelts, wheat fields and productive agricultural ground. That variety lets us follow current deer movement, match each hunter with the best available setup and manage hunting pressure through the season.

Our Standard

Trophy management policy

“We maintain a minimum harvest age of 4½ years for bucks. Giving younger bucks time to mature and develop their antler potential, alongside carefully managed hunting pressure, supports our goal of consistently producing high-quality trophy opportunities year after year. All hunters must follow our harvest guidelines.”

In the Field

Guiding and transportation

Our hunters are guided by experienced, mature professionals who understand whitetail behavior and know the country. We do not build our operation around inexperienced seasonal help.

Your guide develops a personalized hunt strategy, monitors current movement, transports you to and from your stand, places you in the best available setup, and assists through recovery and trophy care. Final shooting decisions must follow the guide’s direction and our mature-deer management standards.

Policy

Harvest, retrieval and tracking

Any blood drawn counts as the hunter’s animal. Our guide will direct the recovery effort.

If a tracking dog, drone or other specialized recovery service is required, that expense is the responsibility of the hunter.

We do not guarantee an antler score or a harvest. What we control is access, managed pressure, scouting, experienced guiding and the quality of the experience.

Camp & Dining

Included lodging and executive-chef meals

The hunt is only part of what makes the trip worth remembering. Our approximately 3,000-square-foot Western Oklahoma lodge offers 10 comfortable beds, oversized couches with additional cot space, multiple living areas, a full kitchen and dining room, pool table, card table, dart board, TVs and plenty of room for a private group to relax.

Every meal is cooked and individually plated by our executive chef. This is not basic lodge food or a self-serve buffet. Hunters return to camp for chef-prepared breakfasts, lunches, appetizers and gourmet plated dinners designed to make the evenings as memorable as the time in the field. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
