Current Conditions
On an evening scout covering only a small portion of the available ground, we personally located 13 separate coveys. We heard several more that we did not pursue or count.
We saw multiple age classes of birds, and roughly 75% of the coveys still had young chicks with them. Farmers and landowners who are on these properties regularly report similar bird activity across most of the ranches.
We believe in being straightforward about wild-bird hunting. Numbers and conditions change through the year, so we do not guarantee limits. We keep scouting into and through the season and hunt the ground that is producing at the time.
Hog hunting, waterfowl and other opportunities may also be available depending on the property and time of year. A 50% deposit reserves your dates; the balance is charged 30 days before the hunt.
